FASHION AT UWC

Hey Guys and Girls! Hope your week is going as smooth as mine, this is by far the least busiest week for me since campus started, perhaps it has to do with the long weekends we have been blessed with lately (which i am super grateful for)!
If you speak to anyone about the fashion at UWC, they'll tell you that people LOVE dressing up! Yes of course, here and there you'll find the more chilled-out looks, but if you look deeper in the crowd, you're bound to spot a fashionista! Since i started this blog, i always wanted to do a post on what people choose to wear to campus. Here are a few ladies i managed to take a few pics of!

SNEAKING AROUND

Last week and wednesday myself and my fiance went out for a mid-week lunch to just chill and hangout a bit before we resume our hectic lives again. After much debate we found ourselves dining at KALKIES in kalk bay.

This old school fish and chips diner brings back plenty of memories as a little girl coming to the harbour with my parents! And it was awesome sharing it again with the man im going to spend my life with. Upon arrival there was much debate about what to have, we ended up settling for the traditional hake, chips and calamari. Hmmm! Mouth-watering!

For the outing i decided to go for a very chilled laid back look. I did this by wearing a black skinny jeans along with a over-sized cotton t-shirt and light baby blue sneakers. As i have said on my facebook page im traditionally a girly girl and this outfit is somewhat out of my element but REALLY cool i think.

All my love

Stitched- The Blog by Iptishaam Davids

The blog by Iptishaam Davids

Where it all began

Hi everyone!

If i have to honestly say where it all began I would have to mention one thing: When i was in 4th grade. I was outside on our front lawn, wearing my denim jumpsuit, bushy hair and with free spirit i started collecting magazines and begun to cut out everything that i thought would be great for my new A4  92 page hard cover book.  I snipped out images of models wearing (what i thought to be) 'sexy' clothing. By doing this i started styling and putting things together.

Later in my life when i started working at YDE, I began styling customers and putting outfits together.
I have this incredible ability to imagine customers in outfits before they've even tried it on!

And that is why i decided to start a Blog, a place where i can express my thoughts and opinions on anything and everything i find interesting and thought provoking!

I hope that you find my posts to follow as exciting as what I would be writing it!

Love
